Performing Arts Center
All workshops, meals, and events are on the Cal Poly campus
(most at the Performing Arts Center, or PAC, on Grand Avenue)
Internet access: Computers and ports will be available
Monday-Wednesday in the PAC lobby.
Getting there: From the Monterey Street inns, walk (~3/4 mile), carpool
(parking structure in front of the PAC), or take the TSSI bus.
Shuttle Bus: Please see the enclosed TSSI Shuttle Bus schedule.
No shuttle bus on Sunday. Please form carpools as needed.

4:00-6:00 pm Registration. Vista Grande (across the street from the Performing Arts Center on Grand Avenue at Cal Poly)

4:05-5:30 Arboretum tour. Meg Abel, Cal Poly student, will conduct the tour. Bus leaves from PAC at 4:05 pm and returns by 5:30.

Tuesday, June 26
7:00-8:00 am Bird watching. Bernard Goldstein, Biologist, VPAA Sonoma State, Faculty Trustee Emeritus, and member of the ITL Advisory Board, will lead a bird-watching expedition. Meeting place to be announced at Monday dinner.
7:30-8:30 am Canyon walk. V.L. Holland, Biology Department Chair, Cal Poly SLO, and Cal Poly students will conduct a walk in Poly Canyon. Meet (carpools recommended) at the corner of Truckee, Klamath, and Poly Canyon Road (on campus) at 7:30 am.

Also, please turn in the TSSI overall conference evaluation at the registration table in the lobby to help ITL plan future Teacher-Scholar Summer Institutes.
Thank you for taking some of your summer break to participate in this year's institute for CSU faculty. ITL will ask you, with a mailed survey in the fall, about your implementation of TSSI workshop ideas. Your response will help ITL determine the effectiveness of this program.
