Anthropology: Applicants must have a declared major in anthropology.
Required: Completion of at least 6 units in anthropology, including Introduction to Anthropology.
Recommended: Completion of some upper-division coursework in anthropology; one course in research methodology.
European Studies and Global/International Studies : Applicants may come from a variety of different majors, including, but not limited to: economics, European studies, geography, government, history, literature, political science and religious studies.
Required: Completion of
at least 6 units in the student's CSU academic major area of study; Completion of one course in European history.
Recommended: Completion of some upper-division coursework in the CSU major.
Interdisciplinary Studies: Applicants may come from a variety of different majors, including, but not limited to: American studies, economics, history, languages, literature, and political science and must focus their studies at Uppsala University in two or more of the aforementioned fields in order to maintain full-time status while attending Uppsala University.
Required: Completion of
at least 6 units in each of the fields that the student wishes to study in the Interdisciplinary Studies program at Uppsala University; one course in European history; English Composition with a grade of B or better, or AP English.
Recommended: Completion of some upper-division courses in the CSU major(s).
International Media and Communication Studies:
Required: Introductory course in Communication Studies; English Composition with a grade of B or better, or AP English.
Recommended: A course in modern European history.
