Spain: Living Abroad

Student Activities

IP arranges a number of excursions designed to acquaint students with Spain. In addition, Madrid and Granada students enjoy a number of organized social events such as parties and group meals celebrating major holidays. Students at either university may also take advantage of team sports, recreation clubs, and other student organizations to get to know Spanish students.

Housing

All students are placed in program-arranged housing upon arrival in Madrid. The Granada students are housed for a few days prior to transfer to Granada, the Madrid students for about 15 days. Program staff in Madrid assists students in finding their own housing. The housing options include apartments, rented rooms, and limited space in the universities dormitories. Similar options (with the exception of university dormitories) are available in Granada.
