The CSU International Programs is affiliated with the University of Ghana, Legon near Accra, and the capital city. The University of Ghana, Legon is Ghana's premier institution of higher learning. It was founded in 1948 as an affiliate college of the University of London. It gained autonomous status in 1961 and has maintained its reputation as one of Africa's finest institutions.
The University of Ghana, Legon provides a variety of courses and academic experiences for students. The academic program integrates IP students into regular university courses in a wide range of disciplines including: African Languages and Literature, African Studies, Anthropology, Business, Development Studies, Dramatic Arts, Economics, English Literature, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, International Relations, Linguistics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Sociology.
All students are required to take Twi language classes during both semesters. Students take Society and Culture of Ghana in the fall semester and Service Learning in Ghana during the spring semester.
