Whether your objective is to learn French or to pursue your academic major at a French university, the CSU International Programs (IP) in France is just right for you. IP has two locations in France where you can pursue your studies-Aix-en-Provence and Paris.
Aix-en-Provence is in the southeastern region of Provence. Sidewalk cafés and picturesque fountains contribute to its celebrated charm. Instruction is provided through the Service Commun d’Enseignement du Français aux Étudiants Étrangers (SCEFEE) at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels and students may enter the programs with as little as one term of college-level French.
Paris, one of the great cities of the world, is the political and cultural capital of France, and a favorite destination for hundreds of international students. IP students participate in the exchange program administered by the Mission Interuniversitaire de Coordination des Echanges Franco-Américains (MICEFA). The academic program in Paris is for intermediate and advanced students who take regular university courses supplemented by French language support courses designed for international students. Students should be prepared to function independently.
