Peer Benchmark

Benchmarking of investment policies and practices with other higher education institutions adds significant credibility in evaluating the stewardship of donor funds. The annual NACUBO Endowment Study is considered the best industry standard available and is the most comprehensive source of data on college and university endowments. The survey addresses investment performance and a broad variety of issue of concern to board members and administrators, such as asset allocation, spending rates, and custodial relationships.

Every California State University institution is encouraged to participate in the annual survey.
