Fullerton is ranked sixth in the nation in baccalaureate
degrees awarded to minority students.
Its College of Business and Economics is home to the
state’s largest nationally accredited undergraduate business
program, and its drama, musical theater and dance majors
all are highly rated nationally. Future communications professionals
have more than 650 internships to select from, and receive
training in Fullerton’s television studio and daily newspaper
complex.

is enormous.
Annual spending related to CSU Fullerton in the Los Angeles
region ($458 million) generates a total impact of $851 million
on the regional economy. This impact sustains more than
12,500 jobs in the region, and generates more than $45 million
per year in tax revenue. Even greater—$1.8 million
of the earnings by alumni from CSU Fullerton are attributable
to their CSU degrees.

Hollywood is practically synonymous with the film and television
industry, and the CSU is a critical supplier of job-ready
graduates in this industry. CSU Fullerton’s Art Department
has teamed with both the Disney Company and Warner Brothers
Feature Animation to offer a highly regarded program in
entertainment art/animation. The university’s Center for
Entertainment and Tourism—the only such center in
Orange County—is are source for multidisciplinary
curriculum for students majoring in arts, business, economics
and communications.
