is enormous.
Annual spending related to CSU Los Angeles in the Los Angeles
region ($314 million) generates a total impact of $598 million
on the regional economy. This impact sustains more than
9,000 jobs in the region, and generates nearly $30 million
per year in tax revenue. Even greater—more than $1.5
billion of the earnings by alumni from CSU Los Angeles are
attributable to their CSU degrees.
