| The California State University (CSU) Institute for Education
Reform is a university-based policy center focusing on elementary
and secondary school issues. Located on the California State University,
Sacramento campus, the Institute works with all 23 campuses of
the CSU system and is supported by the Chancellor's Office. Its
goals are to link the university and state policy makers with
important developments and concerns within the K-12 education
community and to provide assistance to K-12 schools which are
undertaking or contemplating major reform activities. The Institute
was founded in 1995 by then Chancellor Barry Munitz and Gary K.
Hart, former state Senator and veteran chairman of the Senate
Education Committee. |
