Training
CO Human Resource Services offers the following training programs for
Chancellor's Office employees:
New Employee Orientation
The New Employee Orientation provides an overview of the CSU system, the 23
campuses, and the role of the Chancellor's Office.
Supervisory Training
Each year Human Resource Services presents training to address critical
issues for supervisors, including employee discipline, employment practices
and union contracts.
Performance
Management Training
Human Resource Services presents a program on performance management each year
coinciding with the annual performance evaluation process in May/June.
Legal Compliance
Workshops
Yearly workshops cover topics of legal interest such as preventing sexual
harassment, discrimination law and workers' compensation.
Learning & Development
This resource from Systemwide Professional Development lists professional
development opportunities throughout the CSU.
Specialized Training
Employees may attend a variety of workshops and seminars hosted by organizations
independent of the CSU. Attendance must be approved by the employee's department,
which pays for the course. Human Resource Services will work with departments and
employees on customized development programs.
