Salaries and Bonuses
The CSU Salary Schedule
can be used to look up the salary range for any classification.
The Chancellor's Office offers competitive salary and bonus programs. The programs
for management, supervisory and confidential positions are covered by CSU systemwide
guidelines. The programs for union represented positions are covered by collective
bargaining agreements.
Management (Managers and Supervisors)
Managers [3562 (k)]
and Supervisors [3580.3], as defined by the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act, are in the Management Personnel Plan (MPP) which covers their employment rights, benefits and conditions.

Equity Increase program that applies to management employees at the CSU campuses
and the Chancellor's Office.

General Bonus Instructions
Confidential Employees
Confidential employees, as defined by the Higher
Education Employer-Employee Relations Act [3562 (d)], have duties that normally require access
to labor relations information. These employees are not covered by any collective bargaining agreement.

Bonus program that applies to Confidential employees at the CSU campuses and the
Chancellor's Office.
Clerical/Administrative Support and Technical Support Employees
Clerical/administrative support and technical support employees are union represented
(CSEA Units 7 and 9) and are covered by a single collective bargaining agreement.
