Performance Evaluations
Chancellor's Office employees receive periodic written evaluations of their
performance by their supervisor on forms provided by Human Resource Services.
Management Personnel Plan (MPP)
MPP employees are initially evaluated after six months of employment and, thereafter,
at least once a year as part of the Chancellor's Office annual review process,
which is on a July 1-June 30 cycle.
Confidential
Probationary Confidential employees are evaluated before the end of the first 12
months of employment. Permanent Confidential employees are evaluated at least once
a year as part of the Chancellor's Office annual review process, which is on a July
1-June 30 cycle. See CSU

Represented
CSUEU - (Unit 7 Clerical/Administrative Support and Unit 9 Technical Support): Probationary employees are evaluated by the
end of the third, sixth and eleventh month of the probationary period. Permanent
employees are evaluated at least once a year as part of the Chancellor's Office
annual review process, which is on a July 1-June 30 cycle. The evaluator must submit
a draft evaluation for the employee's review, and the employee has up to five days
to review the draft evaluation and provide input, if any, to the evaluator.
SETC - (Unit 6 Skilled Crafts): Probationary employees are evaluated periodically
but not to exceed four times during the probationary period. Permanent employees are
evaluated at least once a year as part of the Chancellor's Office annual review
process, which is on a July 1-June 30 cycle.
