Ethnic Origin code is required by federal and state entities for affirmative action (IPEDS) reporting purposes.
Ethnic Origin data is ’masked’ on all EHDB screens. A 445 transaction updates all active records, and a line entry is displayed on the EAR History screen.
A list of employees and their ethnic codes is provided to the Affirmative Action Officer at each campus, and is also available through CIRS.
