This is an alpha/numeric code that identifies the fraction of time for which the employee is being appointed to the position. The fraction of time must be equal to or less than full-time.

405-02 TIME BASE MUST BE 'IND' OR 'INT'. NONROSTERED APPOINTMENT. If transaction is A54, time base must be 'IND' or 'INT'. 405-03 TIME BASE MUST BE 'INT' FOR CLASS ENTERED. If class code is 2356, 2362, 2365 or 4660, time base must be 'INT'. 405-04 TIME BASE MUST BE 'IND' FOR CLASS ENTERED. If class code is 1869, 2357 or 2457 time base must be 'IND'. 405-05 TRADE RATE EMPLOYEES MUST HAVE A TIME BASE INT. If the class is designated as Casual Employment in the CSU Salary Schedule, time base must be 'INT'. |
