Data Elements Overview

Data elements are the required or optional items of information entered on PIMS transactions. Each item has its own assigned number, title and coding requirements.

The data elements are listed on the PIMS coding matrix in the order in which they are listed on the PPT form. Elements numbered in the 800 and 900 series are always entered on Line G of the PPT form when submitted to CSU Audits.
