FOCUS is a non-procedural reporting language that uses simple English-like phrases to generate ad hoc reports. CIRS is currently running FOCUS 7.0.9 on IBM mainframe (S/390). The vendor for FOCUS is Information Builders.
An introduction to FOCUS commands is provided in the workbook for Basic CIRS Reporting. However, you should have access to FOCUS documentation for a complete description of all available commands and reporting options. We recommend you download the following FOCUS manual from our password protected site. If you are a CIRS user and need the userid and password to download, call the CIRS Hotline.
