General Information

  • The CSU and CSUEU agreed to pay a single Rural Health Care Stipend of $1,500 to employees who meet the following criteria during the January 2011 pay period:

    1. Must be enrolled in a CalPERS sponsored non-HMO health plan.


    2. Must reside in a zip code determined by CalPERS to be a rural area in which there are no CalPERS board approved HMOs. A list of relevant zip codes, effective January 1, 2012, is provided in HR/Salary 2012-03, Attachment B.


    3. Must be in an active or on-leave status
