Summer Health Benefits Stipend
General Information
Pursuant to Article 21 of the CSU/CFA collective bargaining agreement effective May 15, 2007 through June 30, 2010, Lecturers meeting the following criteria will be eligible for a Summer Health Benefits Stipend of $400 per month. Eligible lecturers must:
- Be employed in the immediately preceding spring term and enrolled in CalPERS health benefits; and
- Be appointed and worked at least six (6) Weighted Teaching Units (WTU’s) during their entire Summer term employment; and
- Be ineligible for CalPERS health benefits during the respective July, August, and/or September pay periods
Stipends should not be paid to any employee during pay periods in which the employee is eligible for CalPERS health benefits.
