CSU/CSUEU Memorandum of Understanding on Salary

The CSU and the State Employee Trades Council-United (SETC) have reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the impact of the CSU/CFA Collective Bargaining Agreement on previously negotiated SETC General Salary Increases (GSIs).

In the 2016 -2018 Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU and SETC , parties agreed that in fiscal years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017, there would be a 2% GSI effective on July 1 of each year unless the CSU negotiated a salary Agreement with CFA that provided for salary increases greater than those negotiated with SETC. SETC would then be contractually entitled to the difference between the two Agreements.

Under the terms of the new Memorandum of Understanding, SETC members will receive a 3% GSI on July 1, 2016, and a further 2% GSI on June 30, 2017.
