CSU Policy on Harassment and Sexual Harassment
The CSU systemwide policy that defines and prohibits harassment in the workplace appears in Executive Order 927. Harassment is a form of discrimination. As such, the non-discrimination policy statements that appear in Executive Order 883 and in the collective bargaining agreements also serve as policy statements prohibiting harassment.
Non-represented employees (e.g., Management Personnel Plan, Confidential, etc.) should reference Executive Orders 883 and 927 for the CSU policy prohibiting harassment while represented employees should reference the applicable provisions in their collective bargaining agreement, as specified below.
