CSU Harassment and Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedures

The CSU takes allegations of unlawful harassment very seriously and will promptly conduct an investigation when warranted. Employees are strongly encouraged to report such proscribed conduct. Employees may report the conduct to their supervisor/manager or to the individual(s) designated by the respective campus to receive such reports. For assistance in identifying these designated individuals, employees should contact their campus Human Resources office.

There are established CSU procedures for employees to file written formal complaints of harassment and for the University to respond to such complaints. The procedure available to each employee varies depending on whether the employee is represented or not, and, for a represented employee, the bargaining unit to which the employee belongs. Below is a list of complaint procedures by employee unit. For assistance in utilizing these procedures, employees should contact their campus Human Resources office.
