Prospective transfer student can use the ASSIST.org web site to identify which classes they have already taken that satisfy course requirements for a CSU hospitality management degree. Prior approval for transfer credits is called "articulation," and classes for which there are articulation agreements between a community college and a CSU campus are automatically credited when you transfer. However, a student may still petition to have a course approved for transfer credit if such credit is not automatically granted. Advisors at each campus can help prospective and current students to receive credit by petition for classes that they have taken elsewhere.
