Gitte McDonald

Gitte was awarded a National Science Foundation Pre-Doctoral Fellowship and an Environmental Protection Agency STAR Fellowship, two of the most prestigious awards available to graduate students in the United States. Top physiology and ecology journals have published six articles that Gitte wrote about work she completed while a student at CSU Sacramento. She is currently working at a remote field station on the Antarctic Peninsula as part of her doctoral research at UC Santa Cruz.
