How to Apply: Application Deadlines
Application Deadlines
Please submit your completed application materials prior to the general filing period
deadlines. Applicants who have not been granted an admission decision by the appropriate
deadline date may NOT be reviewed for admission the next semester. Students must reapply
if their application is not processed for the semester to which they applied.
Application Filing Periods
A postbaccalaureate application filed during the initial open filing period (defined
as the months of October/November for the following fall semester and August for the
following spring semester, respectively) will be given every consideration for admission.
Some departments/programs have earlier deadlines than the university deadlines or do
not accept applications for spring admission. For specific department or program filing
deadlines, contact the department.
Application Status
Please note that once all documents are received, it usually takes six to eight weeks
or longer to process applications and to notify the student of a decision regarding
admission. Check with the university's office of graduate admissions for the status of
your application.
Applicants are encouraged to contact the graduate office to introduce themselves and
discuss admission and the program.
