Specialty Subject Matter Assignments
By virtue of the client we serve, most of the lawyers in the Office
of General Counsel are of necessity generalists. Nonetheless, as the practice
of higher education law has become more complex, and the demands of our client
more sophisticated, the need for greater depth in specialty subject matter areas
of the law has grown. The Office of General Counsel has therefore organized to
allow individuals to develop various levels of specialization. The following
list of specialties are not all-inclusive and may change over time. Client
reaction and suggestions are encouraged.
