|Darryl L. Hamm
Darryl Hamm joined the California State University Office of General Counsel in 2005. He is currently University Counsel for Fresno State. He previously served in a similar role at CSU Bakersfield, Humboldt State University, and San Jose State University. In addition to his responsibilities as University Counsel, Darryl also serves as a member of Academic and Student Affairs team and as the Office of General Counsel’s resource attorney for Affirmative Action, First Amendment and FERPA. Prior to joining CSU, he served as a Senior Attorney at two different nonprofits, Legal Services for Children and National Center for Youth Law in the Bay Area, a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in San Francisco, CA, and was in private practice as a litigation associate at Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, CA. Darryl also served as a judicial law clerk after graduating from law school for Justice Allen E. Broussard of the California Supreme Court.
