Ana Diaz

Ana Diaz was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, in 1986. She immigrated to the United States when she was five years old. Ana learned English as a second language while attending Leo Polity Elementary School in Los Angeles' Koreatown, where she excelled and earned a scholarship. After attending Berendo Middle School, also in Koreatown, she was accepted to the Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. Immediately after high school, she enrolled in California State University, Los Angeles. Ana recently married and is currently a junior majoring in child development with a specialization in administration. She attends school full time while working part time as a substitute teacher at Bright Horizons, the child development center for employees at Paramount Studios. There she is engaged in rewarding work assisting children ranging in age from infants to preschool level.
