Ben Davis

Ben Davis is an intellectual, athletic and spiritual student whose private education and love of basketball have helped open doors for him. In 2001, he began working at a ministry on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. The work paved the way for a mission trip to Mozambique, Africa, and for a teaching job in China. He also gained many unique experiences teaching for four years at Sonora Elementary School in Costa Mesa. At the end of his university career, Ben and a fellow student were caught and charged with an act of vandalism. He was devastated and almost allowed the charges to derail him from his path to success. But Ben used his powerful will to persevere, and enrolled in California State University, Fullerton to pursue higher education. He plans to eventually teach at a college level.
