Growing up in rural Northern California, Sarah Cole spent a great deal of time "outside" with her sisters. She had two loving parents to support her through all of her activities. The freedom they gave her to explore the world established her connections with traveling abroad and learning a foreign language. Her passionate curiosity led to a great opportunity to live in Germany as a youth ambassador for the United States. A junior at Humboldt State University, Sara is the first member of her family to attend college and is majoring in international studies with a minor in German.
