"Dream Deferred" Conference, April 26-27- Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles - Produced by the College Board

During the Dream Deferred Conference, CSU officials delivered a presentation about culturally responsive Mathematics Instruction Programs. The presentation featured the CSU Summer Algebra Institutes as part of the CSU African American Initiative.

Presenters at the conference included Dr. Rehema Gray, professor at CSU Northridge; Dr. Jacqueline Mimms, associate vice president at CSU Bakersfield; Dr. Tony Ross, vice president at CSU Los Angeles, Dr. Barbara Young, consultant to the CSU on African American education and Jorge Haynes, senior director of external relations for the CSU system.
