CSU External Relations mission includes ensuring that the needs of students with the least opportunity are recognized as a high priority.

Our collaborations with K-14, faith-based and nonprofit organizations, corporations, academics, policymakers and civic leaders are intended to close opportunity gaps and increase the numbers of  underserved students who attend and graduate from college.

Presidents of CSU campuses in the Northern and Central California areas and CSU Chancellor Charles B. Reed met on Jan. 11 with nearly 30 pastors of African American churches in the Bay Area.

Nearly 260,000 Students Submit applications for Fall 2012 During the priority application period (Oct. 1-Nov. 30), 258,834 students submitted undergraduate applications. Because students apply to multiple CSU campuses, the CSU received more than 665,000 undergraduate student applications.
