Trustees
The trustees of the California State University govern this diverse and complex 23-campus system by developing broad administrative policy for the campuses, providing direction and coordination to campus curricular development, and overseeing the efficient management of funds, property, facilities and investments. The trustees hold themselves accountable to the state through adherence to a strict set of rules and procedures. The following pages provide information to assist CSU trustees in carrying out their important roles within the university system.
