TRAVEL INFORMATION

When making travel arrangements, the closest airport to the Santa Clara Marriott is the San Jose Airport (SJC). Ground transportation information can be found on the hotel website. Of note this year the symposium includes a series of workshops on Thursday afternoon and evening that might change travel schedules relative to previous years. In addition CSUPERB Faculty Consensus Group (FCG) members should remember that the FCG meeting will be held Sunday, January 8 (8:30-3pm), at the Santa Clara Marriott and make registration and travel arrangements accordingly.

Transportation Reimbursements

Travel reimbursements will be available for individuals eligible for transportation funding (see above). CSUPERB reimburses your campus by working directly with our fiscal contacts on your campus.  CSUPERB encourages you to work with your department and college in seeking any necessary approvals prior to your travel to the CSU Biotechnology Symposium.  Due to the state's fiscal crisis, many campuses have imposed stricter requirements for travel approvals.  In addition, some campuses have special requirements for non-campus employed students. Please see campus travel approvals well in advance of the symposium!
