The symposium was designed to make connections between basic research and the translational impacts it has on society, to highlight cutting-edge biotechnologies, and to set students up for success in our global economy. The symposium provided a terrific opportunity for students to network with professionals working in academia, government and industry. Faculty shared research progress, discussed educational best practices, and met potential collaborators from other campuses and industry.
