Program Introduction

The CSUPERB Programmatic Grant Program aims to increase cross-disciplinary faculty involvement in biotechnology and support emerging areas, or interfaces, of biotechnology across the California State University (CSU) system. The 2010 Programmatic RFP is specifically targeted toward the development of innovative shared cross-disciplinary curriculum, workshops, teaching strategies, or facilities containing specialized equipment that require collaboration of faculty representing more than one disciplinary area. CSUPERB emphasizes the system-wide dissemination of curricular materials developed, including online courses, modules and case studies, or the sharing of new facilities across the CSU system to engage, impact and prepare students in biotechnology.
