Call for Proposals Session Formats
Submission Deadline - Extended to November 19, 2007
Panel Discussion Sessions
Themed Panel Discussion Sessions will be scheduled for 75-minutes with 3
panelists that present on related material as determined by the planning
committee. Each panelist will prepare a one-page abstract of his or her work for
distribution. Following a brief overview of these handouts (15 minutes per panelist),
a discussant will lead the panelist and attendees in a discussion of the work. If
necessary each presenter may add up-to two co-presenters as time constraints prohibit
larger presentation groups. It is anticipated that audiences will range in size
between 30 and 40 participants. (audio visual package provided, see guidelines
for submission)
Round Table Discussions
The round table is a great opportunity to discuss with a small group one's work.
Several 30-minute concurrent roundtable gatherings are scheduled. Individual presenters
will prepare a one-page abstract of his/her work for distribution to up-to seven
attendees who will engage in a discussion. (no audio visual provided)
Poster Sessions
A 60-minute poster session will provide the opportunity to include a visual display
of the key points of your research accompanied by your verbal explanation and a one-page
handout elaborating the poster content. The session is open to all conference attendees
and promotes small group interaction about your work. A 3' X 4' poster that accurately
represents the primary findings of the study in a clear and concise manner and is well
organized and visually appealing, is required for this conference format. (6' x 3'
