Advancing Academic Culture to Realize the Civic Mission of Education
Request for Proposals
The Office of Community Service Learning
at the CSU Chancellor's Office is pleased to announce the availability
of competitive grants for assessing academic culture and civic mission
and developing action plans that will advance academic culture in
order for the CSU to realize its civic mission of education. Each
CSU campus is eligible to apply for up to $38,000 over a two-year
period. While the grant program provides opportunities for campus
participation in two main areas-- student leadership and advancing
academic culture--this Request for Proposals provides guidelines only
for the "advancing academic culture area." Proposals must be
received by 5:00 P.M. on March 19, 2004. Mail one
original and three copies to:
