Capital Training Program 2009

Sustainability Grant Writing Workshop

For the last two years, the CSU Office of the Chancellor has supported workshops to assist faculty and staff in preparing competitive proposals to federal, state, and private granting agencies. More than 200 people have participated in these very productive workshops. Many have written highly competitive proposals, and subsequently received grant funding. This workshop will focus on grant and contract opportunities for federal, state, and private foundations in the general theme area of environmental sustainability.

The workshop will be hosted by the Divisions of Capital Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC), and Academic Affairs. We hope that this location will provide easy access to travelers, particularly those in the greater Los Angeles/Long Beach area.

Please register early so that we can find out what type of grants and what your workshop goals are. We will be using this information to formulate the agenda.

We will also be offering portions of the workshop via webinar to support workshop participants who cannot travel to the Chancellor’s Office. Please check back shortly for webinar info.

This program is intended for CSU faculty, staff and administrators who have interests in developing grant and contract funded programs in the general thematic area of environmental sustainability.
