Alliance to Save Energy’s Green Campus Program
Campuses with active student organizations have stronger campus sustainability programs. To
support student’s efforts to institutionalize sustainability, the CSU Chancellor’s
Office is proud to partner with the Alliance
to Save Energy’s Green Campus Program.
The Green Campus Program is leading the way towards campus sustainability by building general campus
awareness, incorporating energy conservation and efficiency into course curricula, and implementing
projects targeting energy use, student purchasing decisions, and operational changes. The
Green Campus Program offers students the opportunity to work with university staff and faculty
to develop strategic energy plans and gain work experience.
The Green Campus program is currently active on six CSU campuses: Humboldt, Chico, San Luis
Obispo, Pomona, San Bernardino and San Diego.
