Climate Change
The California State University has established itself as a leader in confronting climate change. In 2006, CSU was an early enrollee into the Climate Registry, and became one of the first institutions to calculate its greenhouse gas emissions back to 1990.
STARS
Seven campuses have signed up for the AASHE Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, or STARS. STARS provides a self-reporting framework for campuses to measure their sustainability performance.
