Sustainability Advisory Committee
The Sustainability Advisory Committee is charged with implementing Trustee revised policy on Energy Conservation, Sustainable Building Practices, and Physical Plant Management [RCPBG 05-04-11 (pdf)]. Historically, CSU has for over 30 years taken action to reduce utility and energy consumption and incorporate innovative building design and construction measures.
The Sustainability Advisory Committee is carrying out and extending CSU's existing policies on energy, renewable energy and operational efficiency to formally incorporate sustainability. The Board of Trustees meeting in July of 2005 will receive the report on CSU's achievements to date and recommendation for implementing sustainable goals in a cost effective manner in consideration of the available budget.
