This webcast session will focus on evaluating, structuring, and contracting for photovoltaic systems. Other renewable technologies will also be showcased (solar thermal, fuel cells, and combined heat and power systems). The session will provide a review of technology alternatives, economic evaluations, and feasibility analyses including the application of incentive programs, and types of deal structuring and programs available for campus participation. Campus ownership and financing contracts as well as traditional site license and power purchase agreements will be discussed.

The session will also cover the following topics:

  • Renewable Energy
  • Phase 1 – Solar PV – Systemwide portfolio
  • Options for Phase 2
    • Other types of renewable
    • DGS – Wind project
    • DGS – other renewables

This training program is designed for campus planners, finance officers, procurement officers, general counsel, executive facility officers, project managers, directors of plant operations, energy managers, and approved contractors who have or will be implementing renewable energy projects on campus.
