Systemwide Commissioning and Monitoring-Based Commissioning Agreements
Our current Commissioning (Cx) and Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx) agreements have expired. Work that was authorized while those agreements were in place (up to June 30, 2013) may continue to their completion under those existing agreements. New updated scopes have been developed and are available to the campus to use.
The CSU will be soliciting interested parties in a RFQ process to provide new Master Enabling Agreements in 2014.
As an interim measure until new systemwide Master Enabling Agreements (MEAs) are in place, campuses seeking Cx and/or MBCx services are encouraged to use the following Cx - Rider A and MBCx - Rider B scopes in conjunction with a standard CSU Service Agreement. This would be applicable to any service providerscopes in conjunction with a standard CSU Service Agreement. This would be applicable to any service provider.
When the new 2014 MEAs are established, campuses will continue to have the option to select either providers from the new MEA listing or enter into contracts via Service Agreement with any other qualified firm.
When entering into individual Service Agreements it is recommended to the campuses for consistency that the model Cx and MBCx scopes be used. Contact CPDC A/E for more information.
We strive to maintain consistent, balanced, and understandable agreements. We welcome comments on potential improvements. Please contact this office with suggestions in this regard.
