Capital Training Program 2008

Engaging in the Dialogue Around Human Resources and Physical Plant Management (closed session)

The morning session will be spent with Systemwide Human Resources staff, opening with, ‘A Conversation with Gail Brooks,’ followed by updates on collective bargaining contracts and grievances, job classifications, and in range progressions. This session will also include time to respond to questions and concerns submitted by plant and human resource staff to group liaisons prior to the training.

The afternoon session will be highlighted by campus presentations illustrating professional development and leadership followed by facilitated breakout groups discussing campus best practices. Scheduled time for questions and answers will conclude the agenda.

This training is intended for the directors of physical plant and human resources, to enhance communication between these two critical campus management teams, building upon a similar session held in March 2007.

Cancellation Policy:  

If you must cancel, you may do so by returning to your individual registration transaction. A cancelation fee of $20 will be assessed for cancelations for any reason. Cancelations less than 5 calendar days prior to the training will be assessed the entire registration fee. No-shows are not entitled to a refund or credit toward another training session.
