required of the campus community engagement offices and their campus fiscal contacts by the
Chancellor's Office. We encourage you to regularly visit this page to access instructions and in
some cases, templates for the reports, and to learn additional information about the reporting
requirements. Access to past reports is also available.

Reporting Deadlines
Fall 2008 (October - December)
- Academic Planning Database (APDB) Report
Deadline: Varies by campus; For your campus specific reporting deadlines, reference the attachment (.pdf) associated with the 2008-09 Enrollment Reporting Schedule Memo (.pdf). Look at the "Profile APDB files due" column to determine the date that your campus must submit its APDB file. This report is required for every academic term.

California's Call to Service Initiative - Statement of Intent
Deadline: TBD.
Who Submits The Report: Initiative Leader
Report Format: Electronic and postal mail submissions of the statement of intent, including a letter of suport from the campus president should be sent to Judy Botelho, CSU Center for Community Engagement.

Deadline: January 30, 2009
Who Submits The Report: Initiative Leader
Report Format:Will be available in Fall 2008
Information Collected: The report asks you to provide an update
on implementing strategic directions as outlined in the campus office's
strategic plan as well as your campus-specific goals related to this
systemwide-initiative.

Deadline: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 by 5:00 p.m.
Who Submits The Report: Initiative Leader
Report Format: The 2008-2009 report will be available via the
on-line reporting database. Instructions with password information will be sent electronically on or before April 30, 2009.

Additional Information on Reports

Academic Planning Database (APDB) is a computerized information system
coordinated across the 23 campuses that allows the CSU to collect, analyze, and provide
statistical data on the courses offered throughout the CSU and on faculty workload.
During the 2000-2001 academic year, a new element was incorporated into APDB in order to
collect information about the number of service-learning sections offered each academic
term. This element is referred to as the "service-learning" indicator.
