CSU Procurement Officers’ Association Meeting (December 13, 2006)– This session focused on an overview of service learning best practices in risk management and the role of contracts officers in supporting implementation of the best practices.

CSU Provosts’ Meeting (November 30, 2006) – The hour-long conversation looked at the critically important question - How can academic leaders further a community engagement agenda?

CSU Chico Visit by Chancellor’s Office Staff (May 5, 2006) – Two presentations were made during this day-long session. In the morning, a presentation was given to all CSU Chico department chairs, which covered the CSU’s context, how community service learning connects with institutional priorities, and an overview of engaged departments. Faculty in the afternoon session were from departments that had already undergone the engaged department training or were getting prepared to launch this effort. The second presentation looked at the different stages of engaged departments and two exercises on faculty roles and rewards.

CSU Teacher Recruitment Project (TRP) Coordinators' Meeting (October 13, 2005) This session focused on an overview of the program and an intersection between service learning and math and science teacher preparation.
