CSU Community Service Learning Listservs

The CSU hosts two listservs for CSU community service-learning practitioners

1. CommunityServe Listserv currently has over 200 CSU members. The Communityserve list-serve is designed to serve as a discussion board for CSU faculty and administrators interested in community service learning.

   To subscribe: Anyone wishing to become a member must send a request to listserve@calstate.edu, with the message subject and message body blank except for the following text:

   subscribe communityserve yourfirstname yourlastname

   To unsubscribe: If you wish to be removed from the communityserve list-serve, please send your request to listserve@calstate.edu, with the message subject and message body blank except for the following text:

   unsubscribe communityserve

   Do not include anything else, such as signature lines, in the message.

2. CSU Impact - This monthly e-publication announces recent community service-learning news that affect the CSU, highlights resources developed by our 23-campus system, and provides you with interesting CSU community service-learning facts.

   To subscribe: If you would like to receive the CSU Impact e-newsletter by e-mail each month, please send your request to listserve@calstate.edu. Leave the subject empty. In the message body, insert the following, using your first and last name:

   subscribe csuimpact firstname lastname

   Do not include anything else, such as signature lines, in the message.

   To unsubscribe: If you wish to be removed from the CSU Impact e-newsletter list-serve, please send your request to listserve@calstate.edu. Leave the subject empty. In the message body, insert the following, using your first and last name:

National Service-Learning Clearinghouse Higher Education -Service Learning Listserv:

HE-SL provides a forum for the discussion of issues concerning the higher education service-learning community. HE-SL Listserv discussions have evolved around curriculum requests, class assignments and the institutionalization of service-learning.
