Accommodations & Transportation

Lodging Options

It is anticipated that the majority of conference participants will not need lodging to attend either of the one-day regional conferences. However, we recognize that this will not be the case for everyone; therefore, we are providing conference participants with two options:

1. CSU Hosting Program
2. List of hotels/motels near regional conference locations

CSU Hosting Program: Many efforts have been made to minimize conference registration and travel costs including offering two one-day regional conferences that are within a few hours driving distance of most CSU campuses, and by shifting our start and end-times to a bit later in the day (10:00 am - 7:00 pm). However we recognize that for some, overnight travel or airline travel is unavoidable. In the spirit of "community" and in response to our communities' fiscal constraints, the CSU Center for Community Engagement has developed a hosting program for those individuals who need lodging or who are interested in carpooling. If you are interested in serving as a "Host" (e.g. you have a vehicle and want to carpool, or have room for a participant to stay with you) or if you are a "Hostee" (e.g. you would like to carpool with someone or need a place to stay near the conference), please complete the information requested during on-line registration. The Chancellor's Office will initially contact hosts and hostees. Personal information (phone number or email) will only be shared with your permission.  It will be the responsibility of the host and hostee to follow through with one another.

Other Lodging Options:
We have not secured a special conference lodging rate with the hotels listed below. We recommend you inquire with the hotel about special discounts/programs (i.e., a state rate --CSU campus ID will be required, or a AAA discount).
