2nd Annual CSU Conference on Community
Based Teaching and Research: Diversity in California
Call for Proposals
Submission Guidelines for Panel Presentations
About the
Conference
Conference Format
One of the goals of this unique CSU conference is to offer the opportunity for as many
CSU faculty to present as possible. At last year's conference we were able to offer slots to
60 faculty and their advanced students. Last year presentations averaged 12-15 minutes each,
and it is our intention to repeat this successful format this year. Sessions will be
scheduled either for 60 minutes with 3 presentations or for 75 minutes with 4 presentations.
We are not encouraging proposals for a single or multiple presentations that would last the
entire time of the session, since we prefer to mix and match proposals to create panels
around common themes.

Please submit your
proposal online by filling in each field for the submission form as directed. The online
proposal submission form requests information on all presenters1 and session
information including title, short description, category that best represents your research,
