David DeVries is a Professor and Head of the Photocommunications program in the School of Communications at California State University Fullerton. He reveived an M.F.A. degree from the University of Iowa, and is a practicing photographer whose work has been exhibited extensively in the United States, Canada and Europe. His current photographic work uses a triptych format to deal with the interplay and juxtaposition of images. The resulting photographic prints explore the relationship between changes in time, space, and content. He has co-authored two books; Introduction to Photography and his current publication Photography and Digital Imaging.
